  • Mark Barrett

    Lead Pastor

    Pastor Mark and Kirsten have been in ministry for over 20 years. They joined New Life Assembly in July of 2017 and bring to our assembly a passion for the body of Christ to impact the community and are looking forward to seeing all that the Lord has for Sioux Lookout.

  • Robert Kimball

    Assistant Pastor

    Pastor Bob and Margie have been serving New Life Assembly for over 20 years. They have a passion to see people develop into the individuals that God intended them to be so that we can work together to serve Jesus.

  • Steve Harder

    Youth Pastor

    Pastor Steve and Bobbie-Jo have been in ministry for over 15 years. They joined New Life Assembly in July of 2018 and bring with them a passion to see the lives of our youth transformed through a life changing relationship with Jesus Christ.

  • Margie Kimball

    Worship Pastor

    Margie serves as our volunteer Worship Pastor. She has been a worship leader for 35 years with over 20 years here at New Life. Her desire is to experience God's glory through praise and worship and that we would be changed into His likeness as we behold His glory.

  • Elizabeth Seguin

    Office Administrator

    Elizabeth has been in Sioux Lookout at NLA for over 25 years. She is being 're-fired' after retiring from Health Canada as a nurse manager. In the fall of 2017 she joined the staff as office administrator and continues to be the SOZO lead. Her passion and purpose is to see people & communities walk in freedom and wholeness.

  • Edie Baas

    Edith and her husband Dan have been NLA church members for approximately 30 years. She was in the field of nursing and the justice system. She has since retired from the justice system and now works on a per diem basis.  She is a mother and a grandmother. She looks forward to serving as a deacon in the coming months to sit, help, and promote the calling Christ has for us to do and that is to spread the good news. Her interest is in prayer/intercession, discipleship, supporting and encouraging the needy. 

  • Jesse Bonello

    Jesse grew up in the Greater Toronto Area, where he was involved in youth ministry for seven years. Jesse moved to Sioux Lookout in 2018, and he has since joined the Ignite youth team as a youth leader at NLA. He enjoys being a leader and mentor for youth, and his goal is to see and encourage more involvement within the church body.

  • Jing Gosnell

    Jing grew up in the Philippines, and worked for a period in South East Asia. Jing started attending NLA on arriving to Canada in 2005. A wife of Darrell and a mother to Jordan. Her mission is to love by giving! "It is better to give than to receive."

  • Shirley Gray

    Shirley has been a resident in Sioux Lookout for the past 29 years and involved with NLA for most of that time. Shirley's goal is to see the church become more active in prayer both as individuals and corporately and her desire is to see our nation of Canada turn back to God.

  • Stan Nissley

    Stan and his wife Kris have lived in Sioux Lookout for more than 45 years. Stan works as a local contractor and has been part of the NLA family for 35 years. Stan feels that Gods calling on his life is to serve in Sioux Lookout and being involved at NLA is part of that calling. He seeks to challenge people to daily choose a life that is both honoring and pleasing to God.

    Currently Stan is serving in our Sozo ministry where he helps teach and support those going through the program.

  • Ernie Seguin

    Ernie grew up in Northern Ontario on a farm and loves the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He worked in the mining industry for 22 years, forestry for 20 years and for the last 10 years with a small contractor.

    Ernie started attending NLA 25 years ago and served in children's ministry for a long time. Currently he is involved in ushering where He loves to welcome people while serving them and Jesus. 

  • Kevin Usher

    Kevin has been involved in church ministry for most of his life. He has participated with church worship teams as well as touring Ontario with various Christian ministries, such as Teen Challenge and Jesus And Me Ministries. He was born in London, Ontario and remained in London until taking the leap of faith, in 2019, to move north to Sioux Lookout. Kevin and his family are involved in service here at NLA.
